LWW - Lady's Patek Philippe, Genève, retailed by Sim & Co of Troy, NY, 27mm x 31mm to lug tips, 11mm wire lug width, original 18K yellow gold hinged front and back case with inscription reading "Made For Marbella Alberta Houston, 1912, By Patek Philippe & Co, Geneva, Switzerland," the engraved monogrammed initials on case back match with "MAH," no strap, white enamel dial with black Breguet numerals, 18J, adjusted to 8 positions with wolf's tooth winding and moustache counterpoise, s#167263, triple signed. Truly a fabulous example of an early purpose made Patek Philippe wristwatch. Gross weight of assembled watch 13.4 dwt (20.8 g).
CONDITION:
Mvt: Running, excellent-plus mvt condition, very light oxide to steelwork, light fine scratches and discoloration to plates; nearly flawless dial with light surface crazing not visible unless scrutinized under a high power loupe; nearly mint gilt Louis XVI hands; original case shows hardly any wear, no dents or dings; replacement crown shows very little wear; good glass crystal.
